Happy Birrrrthdaaaay toooo meeeeee.....

I dont mean to be a bit self-righteous , for lack of a better word... Its my 23rd birthday and I feel like celebrating. Actually, all I have done in the name of celebrating was buy myself a 50 cent Diet Pepsi from our vending machine before work. (which I left in my car and is probably warm now). It was sweet this morning, Zac leaves a couple hours before I do in the mornings, and before he left he came to say goodbye and wished me a happy birthday. My mom sent me an e-card that is just the cutest stinkin thing, and so did my old office manager. I feel loved.

Tonight we will probably celebrate with a grilled cheese sandwich, as I havent gone shopping yet, and I'm not sure i want to spend the money to go out to eat. Maybe we'll go to Crap in a Sack. (our most endearing term for Jack in the Box.) We are really celebrating on Sunday at my parents. My grandparents will be there, and suprisingly, both sets of aunts and uncles will be there too. Can you say awkward? These people are the source of all bad family politics, but my aunt and uncle are coming in from New Orleans to help celebrate my uncles parents anniversary, which so happens to fall this weekend. I havent seen them since I was 15. My other aunt and uncle are coming in from Spokane to see the other aunt and uncle. I havent seen them since 2004. I'm going to miss my sister, but thats ok... shes got a good excuse. :)

Zac and I decided that from now on, we aren't getting eachother gifts for birthdays, we will just go shopping the weekend of and say whatever we got is from that person. That way, we know that everything fits, they like it and there wont be any issue of "what do you want for your birthday?"

Dance went well on Wenesday! My 1st hour is a bunch of 11 year olds who dont know right from left, and my 2nd class is a bunch of gimps. Ok, ok, I am kidding, Ive got one with a severe learning disability, one with a slipped disc, one with a broken ankle, one with a club foot and two others who havent injured themselves yet. Should go well. Needless to say I am impatiently awaiting my pointe girls in November! They are my elites.

I dont feel 23, I still feel 22... not like there is a huge difference, but I just thank God that he let me live another year. Sometimes we take the fact that God could pull the plug at any point for granted. I am thankful for all He has given me up to this point.

Well, I'm off to el-luncho and a warm Diet Pepsi. Have a great day!
